MMIR Community Discussion & Art Gathering

Join us for an evening of conversation, reflection, and connection as we hold space for MMIR: Missing and Murdered Indigenous Relatives.
This gathering is part of a week of Indigenous-led events during Western Montana Fair Week. It offers an opportunity to learn, ask questions, and explore how we can show up in meaningful ways.
We’ll come together in a talking circle, with space for storytelling, resource sharing, and learning. Dre Castillo will lead a collaborative community painting that invites guests to contribute — making something together in honor of those we’ve lost and those still with us.
Whether you're familiar with MMIR or just beginning to understand, this space is open to all who come in a good way.
Free to attend. All are welcome.
Hosted by Indigen-Unity, a program of the Jeannette Rankin Peace Center.
