Potter round the Point

Join us on a guided walk along Swanage Pier and Peveril Point, where history, wildlife and geology come together in a stunning coastal setting. Starting at the Victorian pier, you'll learn how it once served steamships and stone exports and now supports marine conservation and diving. At Peveril Point, we’ll explore remnants of World War II defences, including gun emplacements and observation posts. The cliffs here reveal layers of Jurassic limestone and clay, part of the world-famous Jurassic Coast, offering a glimpse into 150 million years of Earth’s history. This walk is a perfect blend of natural beauty and fascinating stories from the past.
