As part of our Family ARTchives activities this summer, join artist Ruby Ingleheart and create your own Barbara Hepworth style pop-up sculpture garden!
Inspired by the sculptures of Barbara Hepworth (and the bronze sculpture, Dual Form, currently here at Kresen Kernow), join us on Saturday 9 and Tuesdays 12, 19 and 26 August to make your own version!
There will be a variety of techniques to discover. You’ll use blocks and wooden shapes to experiment with making shapes, then you can use these shapes as inspiration to make plasticine forms, by adding texture with stamps and tools.
Use these forms to print the shapes you’ve created onto paper and cut them out to make your pop-up card.
There will be lots of materials for you to get creative with to build your own pop-up sculpture garden.
These sessions are being run in collaboration with disAbility Cornwall & Isles of Scilly and are part funded by The Little Parc Owles Trust.
The sessions are from 10am-12pm and are FREE and for all ages – just drop in!
