One murder. Three suspects. With author John Eddleston

It’s a while since TVs Murder, Mystery and My Family expert entertained us with his intriguing tales of miscarriages of justice and theories around unsolved crimes of times past.

Without forensics, DNA and suchlike, the police and courts had to rely on witness statements and physical evidence. Many mistakes were made and innocent people hanged.

Now John’s back with a new crime to ponder.

Says John, ‘It's a case that looks to be open and shut but I believe the police missed a glaring clue and didn't even question the real killer’
