This 8-hour training in Trauma-Informed Care provides an in-depth introduction to the key concepts and practices essential for working effectively with individuals who have experienced trauma. Participants will explore the principles of a trauma-informed approach, including safety, trustworthiness, choice, collaboration, and empowerment. The course will cover the "3 E's" of trauma (Event, Experience, Effect) and the "4 R's" (Realize, Recognize, Respond, and Resist re-traumatization), helping learners understand how trauma impacts individuals and systems.
