Community Kindness Workshop

Imagine a child who has just lost their home in a fire or is experiencing a traumatic event or being transitioned into foster care; In the midst of chaos, a fire fighter, a first responder or foster care worker kneels down and offers them a soft, comforting teddy bear. That simple gesture becomes a lifeline in a moment of fear.
Since their invention in 1903, teddy bears have been a universal symbol of safety and care. In this unique experience, our teams will create plush animals that bring warmth and comfort to children facing crises.
All materials will be provided, however; if you wish to donate bears and small baby outfits, feel free to bring them!
Teens are welcomed to participate.
