Good Trouble Lives On—Deliver a Message!

Join in a day of national mobilization focused on making “Good Trouble” in the spirit of the late civil rights activist and U.S. Congressperson, John Lewis. The Mid-Missouri Solidarity Network invites you to join us on Thursday, July 17 as we take our message opposing MAGA, embodied in their so-called Big Beautiful Bill, and their fascistic agenda, to the offices of our U.S. Senators.

Some will join the daily peace vigil at CoMo City Hall from 12:15 to 12:45. Following the vigil, participants are encouraged to make their way to the Atkins Building at the corner of Wilkes Blvd and Fay St. This is the location of the offices of Sen. Josh Hawley and Sen. Eric Schmitt. Some will drive. Some will walk. Some will ride their bikes. Some will skip the vigil and just show up at 1123 Wilkes Blvd. By 1:15 p.m. After delivering our message to the senators' staffs, some participants will proceed to the offices of Rep. Mark Alford to share our concerns with them. Please join us for whatever portion of this event works for you.

There also be a noon-hour Good Trouble event at the Capitol in Jefferson City. Info at: https://www.facebook.com/events/607511315719408

And at 7 p.m. there will be a candlelight vigil at the Boone Co. Courthouse. Info at: https://www.mobilize.us/mobilize/event/806665/
