July Meeting - Peter Brooks talking about his Methodist great-grandfather. NZSG Palmerston North

Peter will talk about a postcard of his Great-Grandfather Rev William Brooks (1848-1916) sent to his Grandfather in 1904, that led to a journey through his families’ history with the Methodist church. This extends back 300 years and overturns everything he thought he knew about his family history, but perhaps explains his unusual upbringing.
Doors open 6.45 for 7.30pm meeting.
All welcome. $5 entry fee for visitors.
