Music and Movement Class

Inspired by Music Learning Theory, Kodaly, and Dalcroze music education methods, students and their caregiver move and create music in each class. We’ll use shakers, scarves, rhythm sticks and more to find a steady beat and sing songs to learn to use our voices. Each child (or siblings for a family) must be accompanied by an adult for the entirety of the class. This not only helps engagement, but it also allows caregivers to learn and take the skills home during the week.
