The Rheingans Sisters

After over a decade of releasing celebrated albums and touring the world the Sheffield duo released their highly anticipated studio album, “Start Close In” during late 2024. This album, and new live show, is the sonic and aesthetic development of their live performances so far, creating an even more immersive musical journey for the audience. Their previous album, “Receiver” reached #2 in the Transglobal World Music charts and was rated one of the Top Ten Essential Folk Albums of that year by Songlines Magazine (“A masterpiece in modern folk” FRUK). With the warmth and empathy their songwriting has become well known for and with the sounds of electric guitar and synths underpinning textures of fiddles, feet, and medieval bass drones of the tambourin a cordes, the Rheingans Sisters are one of the most visionary acts on the British folk scene.
