PRESSURE ALL DAYER
FJAAK & SLAM + LAZLO
3PM-9PM SWG3 (Warehouse & Garden)
We are delighted to follow up our Pressure Yard Session with another daytime party, this time in the upstairs Warehouse where it all began for SWG3. Situated at the back of the venue we have NO sound restrictions and loads of sub bass. The Warehouse opens out into the Garden and Terrace all on the same level as our dancefloor & bar. so you can also enjoy a summer chill out zone (when not dancing like crazy in the darkness of the Warehouse), Visuals created and projected by our long time Pressure, Slam Tent and Arches collaborator Scott McDonald..who is also operating the light show to ensure your optimal optical stimulation.
FJAAK have been smashing it all over the planet of late. They have played numerous times for Pressure since first coming to Glasgow as a quartet on NYD 2018 for Maximum Pressure. The German electronic duo produce driving, energetic dance tracks which range from reflective power house to storming warehouse techno, with occasional U.K. garage dub, and breakbeat hardcore influences. Gritty yet sensual, most of their tracks are composed entirely on analog equipment. Based in Berlin, Felix Wagner and Aaron Röbig had been making music together since childhood before they began producing techno as FJAAK during the late 2000s, while they were still teenagers.
Known for their high-octane, unpretentious analogue techno, they emerged from a shared interest in music and a love for Berlin's techno scene. They are known for their hardware-only live sets and their energetic performances, which have led them to play most major festivals and clubs around the world. Their live sets are highly regarded for their intensity and their ability to create a unique atmosphere.
Felix Wagner and Aaron Röbig met in Spandau, Berlin, and began working on beats together, alongside two other friends, after finishing their studies. The four-person group eventually narrowed down to a trio, and then to the duo of Wagner and Röbig, who are now known as FJAAK. They began to focus on techno and developed their unique sound, eventually becoming a force in the Berlin scene. FJAAK's music is characterized by its raw, energetic sound, often incorporating elements of classic techno, house, and breakbeat. FJAAK's career took off after being signed by Modeselektor's 50Weapons label in 2014, leading to the release of several critically acclaimed EPs.
As electronic music pioneers and co-founders of Soma Records, SLAM have continually reshaped the landscape of underground techno. With their new album, Dark Channel - their first in seven years - they deliver a fierce, club-focused record that speaks directly to the fractured, chaotic world we find ourselves in. Written in an intense three-week burst using only their live setup—modular synths, a Roland 909, Ableton, Push controller, and outboard effects - Dark Channel strips things back to the raw essentials. In contrast to previous records with a more exploratory approach, this record is deliberately singular in focus: a high-voltage, peak-time homage to the relentless energy of the dance floor. The year 2025 feels like an echo of dystopia's past - division, extremism, and disconnection dominate the cultural landscape. In this atmosphere of instability, the dance floor stands defiant. It is a sanctuary. A space for unity, for expression, for release. A place where rhythm becomes resistance and music speaks in a language deeper than words. Dark Channel is Slam’s tribute to that sacred space: a no-holds-barred celebration of the dance floor’s enduring power to connect, liberate, and remind us of our shared humanity - even in the darkest of times.
LAZLO is a 20 year old Irish DJ living in Glasgow. Her sound is inspired by old school techno mixed with underground acid and industrial sounds. Expect raw analog grooves with a driving backbone. She is a resident with Animal Farm & Frenetik across venues like Sub Club, Room 2 & La Cheetah in Glasgow..
