Stop Making Sense: Screening and Q&A with Jerry Harrison

Join Talking Heads' Jerry Harrison for a special screening of Stop Making Sense.

Newly restored last year to mark its 40th anniversary, this iconic movie is considered by critics to be the greatest concert film of all time. In 2021, it was selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry.

Harrison will provide commentary before and after the film. Then, the Rock & Roll Hall of Famer will answer questions from the audience.

Stop Making Sense stars Harrison and band members David Byrne, Chris Frantz and Tina Weymouth in a once-in-a-lifetime concert filmed at Hollywood's famed Pantages Theatre over four nights.

On screen, the band's performance is the same as it ever was – simply amazing. Featuring great songs, funky dance moves and, of course, that crazy oversized suit, this concert movie still makes sense after all these years.
