Mural Opening Celebration!

In partnership with the Biennial of Indigenous Artists International (BIAI), the Presbyterian Church of Traverse City welcomes you to experience the creation and unveiling of “We are ONE People,” a mural intended to tell the truth about the harm of colonization and uplift Anishinaabek wisdom as a path toward unity & healing for all creation. The mural team features local, regional, and international indigenous artists.
A gallery of their works will be on public display as they craft the mural from July 18 to August 10: Mon-Sat 10am-5pm, Sun 11 am-2pm
(A larger BIAI gallery will also be held at the Common Grounds building July 24-August 31.) The Mural Opening Celebration will be held on Thursday, August 14 from 5-7pm, featuring food, music, and an artists’ presentation. Join us as we embrace our collective call to unite and bring about flourishing in our community and beyond!
