Start in Chamonix with a gradual ascent through mountain huts for acclimatization. Summit Mont Blanc via the Goûter route and descend the same day. Includes overnight stays in Chamonix, two high-altitude refuges, and Geneva before returning to London.

Itinerary
Day 1 (30 Sept): Travel from London → Geneva → Chamonix
Day 2: Ascent to Refuge Tête Rousse
Day 3: Climb to Refuge du Goûter for acclimatization
Day 4: Summit day (starts 4:00 AM) and descent – travel to Geneva
Day 5 (4 Oct): Morning in Geneva and return to London

Deposit Information:

To request a place on this expedition, a deposit of £450 is required. This deposit is used to secure your booking in the high-altitude mountain huts. If no spaces are available at the time of confirmation, the deposit will be fully refunded as soon as possible during working days.

Payment Terms:

Pay now only £450 as a deposit. The remaining balance is due one month before the event.

Mont Blanc Summit Expedition – 5-Day Adventure
Embark on an unforgettable journey to the summit of Mont Blanc (4,810 m), the highest peak in Western Europe. This five-day expedition is designed for hikers with previous high-altitude experience and excellent physical condition. We follow the classic Goûter Route, staying in high mountain refuges to gradually acclimatize before summit day.

Itinerary
Day 1: Travel from London to Geneva. Transfer to Chamonix, check-in at local accommodation, gear check and rest.

Day 2: Transfer to Nid d’Aigle via cable car and cogwheel train. Hike to Refuge de Tête Rousse (3,167 m). Acclimatization walk. Dinner and overnight at the hut.

Day 3: Morning climb to Refuge du Goûter (3,835 m). Rest, hydrate, and adapt to the altitude. Dinner and overnight at the hut.

Day 4: Summit day begins at 4:00 AM. Climb via Dôme du Goûter, Vallot Hut, and Bosses Ridge to reach the Mont Blanc summit (4,810 m). Descend to Goûter, then down to Nid d’Aigle. Return to Chamonix and transfer to Geneva. Overnight in Geneva.

Day 5: Free morning in Geneva with optional sightseeing. Return to London by train or flight.

Tips
This expedition is physically demanding. Prior training and excellent fitness are essential.

Acclimatization is key to summit success. The itinerary is structured to support altitude adaptation.

Weather in the Alps can change rapidly. Flexibility and proper gear are crucial.

We will be roped together for safety during the summit push. The rope is provided by the club.

Headlamp, gloves, sunglasses, and 30-40L backpack

All technical equipment can be rented in Chamonix. We will assist with rental arrangements if needed.

The active times are approximate and may vary depending on weather, terrain, and other conditions. Transfer times can also change due to road or traffic issues. If necessary, we may adapt the program for safety or logistical reasons, including decisions from local authorities or mountain staff.

About the Gouter Route: it's the classic and shortest route to Mont Blanc. It's also the least difficult route.

Starting point: Les Houches or Saint Gervais.
