SUMMER CEILIDH

Now we are into July we are promoting the sales of tickets for the Summer Ceilidh. This will be on 30th August from 5pm at Darsham Village Hall. The evening will start with a welcome drink followed soon after with seating for the buffet which we will serve in table order (tables in groups of six). The food will consist of salmon kedgeree, sausage plait and ham carved from the bone plus special potato salad, vegetable salad and mixed green salad with dressings. For pud we are offering a surprise version of cranachan, banoffee pie and apple and pear based fruit salad. There will be vegetarian options and we can cater for special diets if given notice. We will clear most of the tables, leaving some tables and chairs near the bar, so there is plenty of room for the dancing, which we anticipate starting at about 7:30. There is a bar with white, rose and red wine, two choices of draught craft beer, shots of single malt whisky and a variety of soft drinks. There is a raffle and a prize for the best Scottish dress. The Hornpipe Band are steering us around the reels. Tickets going fast priced at £35.00 to include welcome drink and buffet. Do join us - it should be great fun.
