Martyn Joseph in Concert at Marxhouse Concerts

We are delighted/excited to bring back to you all the amazing Martyn Joseph! We currently have him for September 18th & 19th but depending on how many folks sign up we may have a third concert on the 20th! For those of you that have seen Martyn this is enough information to have you attend, but for those who haven’t here is a bit about him.
He is a Welsh singer/songwriter who can move your heart and soul, and make move your feet. He is concerned making relevant music with challenging narratives tackling the complexity of the human condition. His music always has an underpinning of hope and a clear connection to our humanity. He has been compared to Bruce Springsteen, John Mayer, Bruce Cockburn, and Dave Matthews. He has created his own style and reputation as a mesmerizing live performer and stands in his own right, built on a reputation of giving what thousands have described as the best music experience of their lives. His unique talent is driven by passion, social awareness and love of his trade. Part of this description I am using from a BBC review by a Tom Robinson but I would not use it if I didn’t completely agree.
Martyn also puts his beliefs into actions having started Let Yourself Trust, a not-for-profit organization which aims to make a small difference out of great love and commitment by challenging injustice wherever it’s found, educating via advocacy, campaigning for Human Rights and raising issues that have been forgotten or ignored via fundraising initiatives. I am sure Martyn will tell us more during the concert!
