8/7 – Free First Thursday: Wandering and Wondering

For the August Free First Thursday, Wandering & Wondering brings its unique presence to the Summer Seattle Japanese Garden! Throughout the two-hour annual event, you will encounter dancers and musicians dispersed in surprising locations in the garden. The performers’ movements are inspired by all the sights, smells, and sounds they encounter in the garden, and in observing them, you will experience a heightened awareness of the environment you are immersed in.

Wandering & Wondering is directed by Joan Laage/Kogut Butoh.

Entry to the garden is free the whole day from noon to closing for Free First Thursday.
