Summer Faith Formation Series: Understanding the Crusades

Despite ending over 750 years ago, the Crusades still provoke passionate discussion. For some, they are a sign of the vibrancy of medieval Catholicism, while for others, the Crusades are a blot on the Church's legacy. By learning about the people, events, and ideas behind the Crusades, we can clear away misunderstandings to better understand these complex events and what they mean for Catholics today.
