Special Guests Robyn Gair & Racing Colours
RACING COLOURS
Jason aka Racing Colours was a member of the band Kath Auto for 12 years, during which time the band performed at iconic local venues such as The Grapes and The Boardwalk, both of which are sadly no longer in operation. In 2016 he supported Norman Watt-Roy (of Ian Dury and The Blockheads) at The Greystones. Since embarking on a solo career, Racing Colours has performed at events including the Nether Edge Festival, Tramlines Fringe, and Woodstocksbridge. They have been actively connecting with other local musicians and are exploring opportunities for collaborative projects in the coming year. Their music can be described as indie folk, though it is characterized by a lively and energetic edge. Believing that acoustic music doesn’t have to be mellow or soporific, Racing Colours brings a vibrant energy to their performances. Their song "Lippy," which showcases their style, is available to view on TikTok and Instagram. They can be found on TikTok under the handle @racingcolours.
Robyn Gair

"Songs of tenderness, protest and social commentary accompanied by warmth and humour" (Duncan Parsons, John Hackett Band)
