Meet the Voice Behind Cordova

Hi, my name is Luis Plascencia, and I’m honored to be the advocate behind the “Town of Cordova” community pages. I started these platforms almost a year ago with one simple goal: to create a space where Cordova residents could stay informed, feel connected, and take pride in our beautiful community.

Even though Cordova isn’t officially its own town (yet), I wanted to step up and be a voice for the people—sharing local news, highlighting small businesses, organizing events, and uplifting every corner of Cordova I possibly can. I grew up here. I live here. I believe in this place.

This fall, I’ll be hosting an event called “Meet the Voice Behind Cordova” a chance for you to get to know the person behind the posts, (me), share your ideas, and meet fellow neighbors who care just as much about our future as you do. Whether you’re a lifelong Cordovan or new to the area, I’d love to meet you.
