Paddle UK Paddlesport Instructor

This 2 day course will give you the tools to deliver enjoyable, safe and rewarding introductory paddlesport sessions in a very sheltered water environment such as canals and small lakes and is designed for those whose main focus of work is delivering paddlesport taster/starter sessions within clubs, centres or other organisations. The qualification is not discipline specific and is suitable for instructors who work with paddlers from any of the competitive and non-competitive paddlesport disciplines.

At the end of the course we will provide you with a personal action plan to work towards getting you primed and ready to deliver your first sessions. You can choose the craft that you instruct from - whether it is canoes, kayaks, sit on top kayaks or Stand Up Paddleboards.

This course provides an excellent starting point for you as a paddlesport instructor, introducing you to the fundamentals of best practice of your sport whatever your discipline.
