Join us on July 5th starting at 9 am for the annual Windsor Butterfly Count! A great opportunity for beginners and experts alike to learn about and observe the wonderful variety of butterflies that can be found in the Ojibway Prairie Complex. Last year we observed 45 different species!
Participants will be separated into teams where experienced leaders will take their team through key common areas of Ojibway where butterflies can be found. No experience is necessary, just a keen interest in observing and documenting the natural wonders of Ojibway! Meet at the Ojibway Nature Centre, please dress for the weather, long sleeve shirts and pants are recommended as well as bug spray.
No registration is required and the event is 100% free thanks to the sponsorship of The Friends of Ojibway Prairie. We hope to see you there!
