Bowen Theory Education Center's 15th Annual Symposium
The Ecology of Connection: Insights From Nature and Family Systems

*In-person and Virtual

The life of a human cannot be considered without reflecting on our connection to the land, sky, water—and to all of life. This year’s Symposium brings together two compelling thinkers to explore this interconnection from both scientific and systems perspectives.

Dr. Robert (Bob) Noone, a Bowen Family Systems Theorist, will present on Systems Biology and Bowen Theory, drawing from decades of clinical, editorial, and theoretical work.

Dr. Dwayne Estes, a leading voice in conservation biology and Executive Director of the Southeastern Grasslands Institute, will share insights on the biodiversity and ecological history of the Southeastern U.S. Dr. Estes—often referred to as the “Prairie Preacher”—will explore how humans are inextricably linked to the natural systems around them.

Together, these speakers will guide us in a rich conversation about the ecology of connection—from families to fields.
