Reno, NV- Honoring 21 years of helping local animals and their people, Shakespeare Animal Fund is hosting a celebration and fundraising event--Cheers to 21--August 14 from 4:30-7:30 at Reno’s National Auto Museum. Attendees will hear extraordinary jazz, enjoy wine, hors d’oeuvres and tour the museum.
Sponsored by CGI, one of the largest independent technology and professional services firms, this event also includes a high-end silent auction and raffle, all to benefit the animals.
For 21 years, Shakespeare has been dedicated to one mission: giving financial assistance to owners of injured or suffering animals that require emergency vet care. Unfortunately, in northern Nevada thousands of pet owners are living at or slightly above poverty level. When their dog or cat is suffering, the owner will often do without their own medication or food, just to save their beloved pet. That’s where Shakespeare steps in.
