When: Sunday, June 29th
Time: 2:00 pm
Where: Ball’s Bridge, Little Lakes Area -38199 Little Lakes Rd, Goderich, ON N0M 1E0

The Friends of Ball's Bridge & Little Lakes (FOBBLL) invites you to join this enchanted march and parade with the creatures of the Ball's Bridge, Little Lakes Road Maitland River Area. Together we will give all beings a voice!
The animals, plants and spirits of the land rise in one last scream for justice.
Come with puppets, masks and costumes of our local animal and plant neighbours. Bring your voice, your instruments, your feet. We will meet at the bridge and march down Little Lakes road as a spectacle of all beings.
This is a feral celebration of life. A CALL TO ACTION for all living things. Don't let them haul our future away. Creatures and humans alike say no to the gravel pit!
Together, we can make a difference for our community and the incredible wildlife that calls it home!

The Ball's Bridge & Little Lakes Road area is a small community 15 minutes outside Goderich, Ontario. Our community has been fighting hard for 5 years to protect this habitat from an open pit below water level aggregate mine. In the centre of the proposed gravel mine there is a fertile and thriving wetland, home to a variety of species that will dry up. A luscious food forest that will be cut down and a beloved river that will be infected therefore infecting all of us too. If the mine is approved, this complex ecosystem that is the home of an abundance of wild animals, plants, humans and memories will become extremely harmed.

Join us as we connect with our environment and each other, celebrating the beauty of the Little Lakes area and our commitment to protecting it.
