In this relaxed workshop, Lorraine March will guide you through some watercolour techniques, for you to have fun and experiment with and use in your own work. Suitable for beginners and for those with a bit more experience who would like to approach non -traditional methods of starting projects, you'll create as much as you have the time or curiosity to! The workshop fee includes all materials and refreshments during the short mid-morning break- tea, coffee and shortbread biscuits freshly made in the kitchens of the Great Hall. At the end of the work shop you will walk away. The workshop is scheduled to end by 1230. You'll leave with whatever you have chosen to make, and a 'mini-toolkit' of ways into creating more of your own work.
Parking is free and in the Sports Centre car park which is signposted and a short walk for the Layard theatre foyer where the workshop takes place.
Following a B.A in Textiles, Lorraine March enjoyed a long and varied teaching career , and currently exhibits & sells her own work in the region, Lorraine is a member of Wimborne Art group and of U3A, where she sometimes runs workshops for fellow members.
