Tuesday night. Come and try medieval dancing! Will be run mostly in lieu of training, location tbc - like to be the Hartley Building on Uni grounds!
Wanting to brush up on your skills before ICW? Or just learning completely anew?
The wonderful Collette has offered to host a βcome and tryβ dance class on Tuesday, the 8th of July during training.
Dance in the SCA is based on Renaissance and early English Country dancing. The dances allow for groups ranging from couples to "as many as will", and most are easy and fun. A fun, unique and special experience, it is also perfect for improving footwork for both heavy and rapier fighters!
This class will run from 6pm-7.30pm. Sparring/training will then run 7.30pm-8.30pm (weather dependent).
Collette has volunteered to run dance classes fortnightly thereafter! Those will run from 6-7pm, training will then follow 7pm-8.30pm.
