DESCRIPTION:
Get ready for the paddling season by brushing up on your paddling technique. Refining your strokes makes your paddling more efficient and fun. We will be focusing on the finer technical points in the basic forward paddling stroke, allowing you to get further faster with less exhaustion. We will also work on sweep, draw and support strokes. At the conclusion of the session we will have time to practice rescues in the warmer water at Garden Island - A great place for winter training.
Note that ratios/quotas will apply, depending on the number of Instructors or Leaders on a trip. We may take pictures of the trip and mention your name on our website. If you have any concerns about this, let the trip leader know.
