farewells Bari Pork Store

It’s heartbreaking to see the 55-year-old Italian business, Bari Pork Store, closing its doors. We haven’t done enough to preserve the Italian community in our neighborhood—especially in the past two years—and as a result, beloved family-run stores like this are disappearing one by one.

This Sunday will be their final day, and they’ll be open until 2 PM. I’ll be there around 1 PM, and I invite you to join me in clearing their shelves as a heartfelt tribute to their decades of dedication and devotion.
