Weeknight Summer archery! An Tir Rules apply.
Weather depending, archery every Thursday for the Summer season into Autumn. The range will be open until 8pm, it starts getting dark, or if it is still light out and there are actively participating archers.
As of June 27 we have two targets so the shooting line will be a moving line until we have three targets. We are currently working on more.
I will call the practice ended if no one shows up or sends me a message that they are coming, by 6pm.
The deets:
We live on a military base. There is a gate that is unoccupied and you can pass right through. The houses are on the left just past the fire warning sign. If you get to the second gate, just turn around and come back.
Our house is #9, it's green and has a veggie garden in the front. Please park in that driveway, the driveway across the street at the garage or if the street starts getting crowded, we may ask you to park in the field down the road (it's a block away).
In our home is where you will find a restroom. We have a dog and a cat.
Pets: if you bring a pet, you absolutely must have it leashed.
Wildlife: We have wolves who frequent the area. If for some rare reason a wolf comes out, leave it be and if it approaches, face it and stand your ground. They will leave. I don't believe this will happen but I mention this because we have had some training by WildWise on how to avoid any conflicts. It's important to us, we love the wolves.
