All are welcome to a free Sound Healing Drum jam Saturday at Huckaby Trailhead from 7-9pm! Bring your drum, chair, acoustic instruments, including healing bowls. A few small lights woulds also be helpful during the last 30 minutes.
The Sedona Drum and Healing Circle has emerged quite organically through the desire of the group to explore the transformative power of sound and rhythm through collaborative, heart-centered improvisational drumming. Our aim is to tap into the internal state of Flow—a space of deep focus, joyful presence, and creative energy—while collectively experiencing the healing effects of music and movement
Each rhythm begins with a simple pulse and evolves naturally as everybody’s musical contributions lays the foundation for creative exploration. In this inclusive space, the rhythm welcomes all input without judgment or instruction, building momentum and inviting each participant to stretch their skills and listen deeply.
We embrace the addition of sound healing instruments such as healing bowls, handpans, bells, didgeridoos, flutes, and shakers. These instruments come out to play between drum jams to soothe the soul and to ease transitions into new rhythms, with the drums gently returning like the heartbeat of the earth.
Our circles are a dynamic, evolving tapestry of sound—one that mirrors our own inner unfolding of consciousness. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned drummer, you'll find a welcoming blend of challenge, connection, and flow.
Reach out if you'd like to borrow a drum or a chair.
