The MAAC Foundation, in accordance with the IAFF and IAFC, is proud to provide CPAT testing to all interested candidates. The CPAT test consists of 8 activities to reflect the everyday operations firefighters may be faced with.
The typical candidate test day format is as follows:
0900 Orientation
0945, 1030, 1115 Practices and Tests
There is also an optional 24' Ladder Climb Exercise:
Candidates participating in the CPAT at the MAAC have the option to take part in an additional ladder climb exercise. This exercise is entirely separate from the CPAT and will not affect a candidate’s CPAT test results. If you already have successfully completed your CPAT, you do not have to do it again to participate in the Ladder Climb.
