Guided tour of the Winternitz Villa with a guide in English every Sunday at 11:00 a.m.
The Winternitz Villa is the realization of the world-famous architect Adolf Loos and his partner Karel Lhota (the author of all elements in the interior). The house, which is now a cultural monument, was built in 1931-32 for the lawyer Josef Winternitz and his family.
Participants will be able to come and enjoy Loos' typical architecture and his concept of Raumplan with commentary from experienced guides. They will learn much information about the family's turbulent fate, but also about the villa, which has come to life again and today also hosts a number of cultural events.
