TBS Education Online English Group Practice (8:30am PST)

Our weekly online classes are the easiest way to get started in True Buddha School. Whilst all are welcome to attend group practice with His Holiness Living Buddha Lian Sheng, the individual steps of practice are not taught there. However in this class they are, making it ideal for beginners and improvers alike.
The sessions will take the format of a guided session lead by an experienced dharma assistant or an ordained reverend (fashi). Log into the class via Zoom and switch off your camera and microphone so as not to distract others. If you have one, bring your mala beads.
Each step of the practice will spoken through by the session lead and accompanied by on-screen visuals, making it easy to follow along. There will be mantras, mudras and visualisations, breathwork and meditation. At the end, we all turn on our cameras and microphones for a short sharing session.
You do not need to be a True Buddha School student or hold the empowerment to join. All are welcome and this is a great place to check out our practices and see if it is something you would like to learn.
Classes vary month to month. The core two are:
- Vajrasattva Yoga & the preliminaries
- Guru Yoga of True Buddha School
There may also be other primary deities such as Yellow Jambhala or Red Jambhala (Ganesh).
After a month or so of attending these classes, you should feel confident that you are carrying out the ritual sadhana practice correctly. You will have the confidence to join group practice with Grandmaster knowing that you know what each step consists of and achieves. If you continue to attend, there's plenty of chance to learn and share from other experienced cultivators in this friendly group.
All are welcome to join in whenever you can. One can attend via Youtube or Zoom. Experienced cultivators lead the group and those on Zoom can ask questions afterwards.
