Jack Wilkins Quintet

Saxophonist and composer Jack Wilkins has eight CD’s out as a leader. His most recent is “Acadian Rhythms”. He can also be heard as a featured soloist on the critically-acclaimed recordings by Chuck Owen and the Jazz Surge, including “Whispers on the Wind” for which he was a Grammy award finalist as a performer and as the saxophone soloist on “River Runs: A Concerto for Jazz Guitar, Saxophone and Orchestra”. Wilkins is Professor Emeritus at the University of South Florida School of Music where he was Director of the Jazz Studies program.
