As Startupfest’s Art Director and the founder of Raison d’art, I’ve spent years researching how creativity can do more than drive innovation. I firmly believe that art can repair what technology has disrupted: our empathy, our focus, and our connection to one another.
That’s why this July 9–11 at Startupfest, we are inviting you to experience something different.
Raison d'art is launching an interactive art activation where participants use a custom-built digital tool to co-create empathy portraits. Each portrait will be printed on-site and added to a growing mosaic wall, a representation of Startupfest’s collective heart and strong community.
Your participation supports portraitX 3.0—our digital art and AI literacy program for underserved youth in communities across Canada. Every donation earns you a lollipop (yes, literally), a spin at the prize wheel, and a role in shaping the next generation with care.
