Welcome to our Chablis tasting class—a focused exploration of one of the world’s purest expressions of Chardonnay. Over the next hour, we’ll taste four wines side by side, each offering a unique lens into the region’s remarkable terroir.
Located in the northernmost part of Burgundy, Chablis is defined by its cool climate and distinctive Kimmeridgian limestone soils. These ancient marine deposits—rich in fossilized shells—impart the trademark minerality and tension that make Chablis so compelling. This is Chardonnay stripped down: no flashy oak, no tropical swagger—just precision, structure, and clarity.
We will taste 2 Village Chablis and 2 Premier Cru Chablis from 2 producers known for very different styles of wine. These wines are limited, so we are only offering 3 class dates- don't mss out on the nerdy class!
