Description: Join us in learning how to access the warrior from within as we embark on the hero's journey! Psychodrama is an evidenced-based experiential therapy modality and a powerful approach for healing trauma and mental health concerns. This training offers participants the opportunity to explore the history and theory of psychodrama while learning practical tools to use in both individual and group psychotherapy sessions. Through the hero’s journey, participants will learn strategies for building safety, resiliency, and uncovering inner strengths. Action methods will be facilitated to give participants the opportunity to gain new insight through personal discovery and leave with creative and exciting new ways to engage clients in clinical work. Whether you’re attending your very first psychodrama workshop or you’re an old pro, all levels of experience are welcome!

Using the theme of the hero’s journey, attendees will learn creative tools for helping clients gain insight on strengths, identify how to move through barriers keeping them stuck, and facilitate post-traumatic growth.
