Chalk the Walk

Help us kick off the 2025–2026 school year with color, kindness, and community! Join Stafford County Public Schools for Chalk the Walk on Transition Day, Monday, August 11, 2025. Families, students, staff, and community members are invited to decorate school sidewalks with encouraging messages and cheerful drawings to welcome students back to school.

All participants must register in advance to help us ensure every school receives the same support and to avoid overcrowding. Chalk your message, spread some joy, and help us create a warm welcome for every student returning to school!
