A Sense of Place Photography Meetup

This 2-hour workshop will look at how to make images to give a sense of place, a portrait of a location! You will learn different technical and creative approaches to making a series of images that give an overall impression. From getting close up and personal while mastering shallow depth of field, to wide sweeping establishing shots of iconic landmarks. We will also be on the constant lookout for those "only in Brighton" moments.

Playing with light and shadows, you will be encouraged to explore the interplay between light and shadows in street photography to create visually striking images with depth and drama.

You will also pick up tips on how to make use of strong compositional techniques, such as the rule of thirds, leading lines, and visual balance.
