This term we continue again with our former NHS supported yoga class. We focus not only on gentle calming movements and poses accompanied by an awareness of your breath but also on building (core) strength to stimulate recovery and prevent injuries with help of floor Pilates exercises combined with relaxing and releasing yoga poses.

These classes are for beginners but also for those who have more experience with yoga and want to accompany stretching with building strength. As is proven by physiotherapeutic research building strength is more beneficial for reducing injury risk but there is more. It:

- helps with reducing negative effects of chronic diseases.
- improves mental health
- promotes functional flexibility of real life’s movements
- both stretching and strength training stimulate protein synthesis that will benefit all kind of functions of the body.
- it creates happy hormones
