Lughnasadh the ancient Gaelic festival marking the beginning of the Harvest season & a seasonal marker of the half way point between Summer/Litha and Autumn/Mabon Named after the god 'Lugh', a Sun god celebrated by the Celts...Lugh signifies the constant of the sun as we shift into Autumn.
During Lughnasadh, we celebrate abundance in full force and the fruits that derive from the sun, the earth & personal spirit
This is our time to take a pause, reflect on the fruitfulness of Summer & reset for Lughnasadh is a reminder that we have more than one opportunity to harvest, to grow, to flourish

LOCATION: Please meet on the grass (on the park) on the left (past the gatehouse) house as you come through the main entrance to the park off HILL ROAD - NOT THE COP LANE ENTRANCE - there is a car park 2 mins from our meeting location on Hill Road, next to the cemetery
