National Gardens Scheme Open Garden

Come visit our award winning gardens! We are opening our gardens for the National Garden Scheme Open Garden Day on Sunday 27th July 2025.

You'll be able to look around our five acre site which is lovingly cared for by a hugely dedicated team of volunteers. The team work tirelessly in all seasons, and all conditions, to make sure the grounds look their best for all who visit.

Alongside landscaped lawns and beautiful borders, we have a wooded area, dementia friendly sensory garden, kitchen garden and 'In Memory' garden to explore. The jewel in our crown is the large Victorian greenhouse where we grow plants to sell and also for our own use.

This year visitors will be able to have a sneak peak at the 'Garden of Compassion' which was gifted to us by Hospice UK after being on display at RHS Chelsea Flower Show in May. The garden was fully funded by Project Giving Back. The hugely tactile and ergonomic “together benches” are crafted from a fallen oak, which has been given new life to offer patients, their families and hospice staff a place to sit and find moments of togetherness, solace, comfort and respite from the challenges they face.

The onsite coffee shop will be open with a selection of treats, teas and coffees available to buy.
