Join artist and illustrator Lo Tierney for a VERY special Drink and Draw at Botanical Garden in the Baltic Triangle, which is part Franz Genauโs Queer Jardin summer programme! Get ready to unleash your artistic side and meet like-minded individuals in a casual and friendly atmosphere.
Whether you're an experienced artist or just starting out, this event is open to all skill levels. Art materials will be provided at the event, so feel free to grab some and make some amazing artwork while having a bev with your bezzies!
Don't worry if you're feeling a bit rusty or lacking inspiration, as there will be a theme to get your creativity flowing. This time around, the theme will be LGBT pride! Are you gutted that Liverpool Pride got cancelled this year but still want to celebrate? Then come down, make some gorgeous signs and meet like-minded people! If youโre stuck, Lo will be there to answer any questions you may have and help you out.
So mark your calendars and come down for a fun evening of drinking, drawing and socialising. We can't wait to see the creative masterpieces you'll make!

Frequently asked questions -
Q: Do I have to book before attending?
A: Yes, you have to book your space online. This is because itโs easier for Lo to keep numbers on who is attending, plus Botanical Garden is quite a small venue so seats fill up pretty quickly!
Q: Do I have to get to the event at 7 on the dot?
A: No, if your job/commitments finish a little later than 7, you can come to the event after that. There is no structure to the event per se, itโs more like a relaxed drop-in! The ticket is just to secure your space, so that the venue doesnโt become over-crowded. However, please note that seating is assigned on a priority basis. If you arrive after the designated start time and all seats are occupied, you may need to wait until a seat becomes available.
Q: Do I have to bring my own art materials?
A: Art materials are already provided at the event, however if you want to bring your own stuff then thatโs fine as well.
Q: Do I have to take part in the art challenge provided?
A: Thereโs no pressure to take part in the art challenge if it doesnโt tickle your fancy, you can draw anything you like. The art challenge is more for those who may be stuck on what to draw and give them a bit of inspiration!
Q: If I book a ticket but realise I canโt come on the day, can I get a refund?
A: Yes you can, but only as long as you give Lo three dayโs notice before the event. This is so that your ticket can be sold to someone else. However, if you donโt notify Lo before then and are a no-show at the event, then you will not be able get a refund.
