Are you a confident Salsa dancer looking to improve your dancing?
Do you want to learn how to be a better social dancer?
Do you want to add a bit of flair and pizazz to your dancing?
If you answered yes, this course is for you!
This course is not suitable for beginner dancers or those unfamiliar with the basics of Linear Salsa.
Dates: Thursday evenings, 3rd July to 21st August.
Time: 7 PM to 8 PM
Venue: St James Church, 82 Nixon Street, Hamilton East.
What to expect: A one-hour class incorporating a warm-up, and a short partner-work combination practiced to counts and music. All movements will be broken down and taught part by part. Styling and musicality will be incorporated to add flair and pizazz to your dancing.
What to wear: Please wear clothes that are easy to move in and shoes that are lightweight with little grip.
Dance shoes are highly recommended.
Please, no black-soled street shoes, as these will mark the church floor.
Note: We have a few pairs of second-hand shoes and heel caps for sale.
What to bring: A smile, a water bottle, and a warm layer for after class.
Cost: Casual pricing $10 per person per class, or purchase a concession card and SAVE!
8 x Classes = $60
16 x Classes = $110
24 Classes = $150
Payment can be made on the day by cash or bank transfer.
Parking: Street parking only.
