Kia Ora Sea Scouts, Young Mariners, and Sea Cadets,
The 49th Alastair Kerr Waikato Zone Spring Regatta will be held on Saturday 6th September at Lake Rotoroa (Hamilton Lake).
The regatta is non-competitive with the aim to get all youth onto the water. As in previous years, we will be running sailing (Cutter & Sunburst), rowing and kayaking events for Junior, Intermediate, Senior and Open categories. It would be great to see some new groups this year, as well as having the regulars back. Scouts, Young Mariners and Sea Cadets are warmly welcomed to blow the cobwebs away and enjoy getting out on the water.
Opening parade is 1000 hours, with the regatta finishing between 1600 and 1700 hours.
