With regular use in daily life, these practices can help alleviate stress and equip us to live with, and beyond, trauma in the here and now
Capacitar Practices are not therapy but rather a flow of body based exercises, meditations and protocols which are appropriate and adaptable to all cultures, age groups and physical abilities. Each person finds their own core practice(s).
For one person it will be regular T'ai Chi, to move the body and balance energy and emotions. For another it will be daily use of meditation, the finger-holds, or the Emotional Freedom Technique to clear and balance strong emotions. Pressing or rubbing a few simple acupressure points can relieve physical and emotional pain. We find ourselves growing in deeper appreciation of each technique and how they can help us at different times in our lives. These simple but powerful practices, as well as many others, also become a great gift to pass on to others.
