A two-day workshop for advanced adult participants exploring handstands both as a technical practice and a creative trigger.
The first part of the workshop will focus on understanding the fundamentals of handbalancing: alignment, strength, and mobility, supported by targeted conditioning exercises and progressing toward more complex positions, weight transfers, and one-arm technique.
From there, we will shift into an artistic exploration within the circus discipline, using improvisation, writing, and compositional tools to open up new possibilities for physical language, approaching balance not as an isolated event, but as an integrated experience.
