A Small-Town Life is a photographic memoir, where the Dave uses over 200 period photographs from area archives to describe daily life during his growing up years in Grand Haven.
It was a 20-year transitional time that began with Grand Haven a quiet, almost sleepy town and ended with a town-on-the move, with a new highway, new businesses and new developments. Grand Haven had reinvented itself before, and did it again during the 50s and 60s, and the author uses photos and his memories to
describe what he observed in his home town.
