FREE Social Dancing & Icebreaker at The Apex

We’re going back to the Apex! On Saturday 5th July we will have a 2 hr FREE social dance session upstairs in the Apex, 2:30 - 4:30 PM. Music will be mixed, with traditional and some alternative. There will also be a FREE Icebreaker/taster lesson beforehand taught by Mick & Uschi, 1:30 - 2:30 PM which is ideal to bring your “tango curious” friends to.
We love these Apex sessions - they are perfect for a casual drop in to fit some tango into your day. The large seating area is great for lounging and catching up off the dancefloor. Please do support the cafe downstairs and buy some cake or coffee!

If you are coming along to the Icebreaker / Taster and this is your first foray into dancing: No need to book or bring a partner. Solo dancers extremely welcome - tango is a social dance and we will all dance with each other. You don’t need special shoes, although try to wear something without too much grip as you need to be able to pivot. Grippy trainers are bad, leather soled shoes or pumps are perfect.
